		Non ho mai capito le frasi del tipo "questi non sono tifosi". Perché, un assassino non può essere tifoso della Roma? Mi' nonno che se menava coi laziali nel 1950 non era tifoso? Questi sono semplicemente tifosi violenti, ma sono tifosi.

INCIDENTI AL DERBY, SERRA "TROPPI COLTELLI NEL SEDERE"

(AGI/ITALPRESS)- Roma, 30 apr. - "Ci sono stati trecento-quattrocenti scalmanati che hanno cercato di aggredire la polizia, alcuni di questi con bastoni appuntiti, ma sono i soliti delinquenti e non vorrei enfatizzare". E' questo il bilancio tracciato dal prefetto di Roma, Achille Serra, intervenuto ai microfoni de "La Politica nel Pallone" su Gr Parlamento, a proposito del derby capitolino che si e' giocato ieri. "L'enfatizzazione da' stimolo a questi mascalzoni, ma non ci sono stati grossi scontri - continua - C'e' stata qualche punta di coltello di troppo contro il sedere di qualcuno ma si tratta di ferite guaribili in pochi giorni". Secondo Serra far giocare Roma-Lazio al pomeriggio anziche' di sera non "fa differenza. Sono sicuro che le forze dell'ordine sanno affrontare un derby sia di sera che di pomeriggio e l'esperienza del passato mi dice che le difficolta' sono le medesime, tutto sommato". Parlando piu' in generale della violenza negli stadi, il prefetto di Roma si dice convinto che i provvedimenti singoli non bastano. "Servono gli steward negli stadi, la polizia fuori, la certezza della pena, il recupero di valori in certi settori della societa', stadi moderni - spiega Serra - E' necessario mettere mano a piu' cose se vogliamo risolvere il problema. Cominciamo a capire il perche' di questa violenza, da dove viene e incidiamo su questi fattori. La repressione deve essere l'ultimo stadio, bisogna prevenire e prevenire significa capire". A proposito degli steward, Serra e' convinto che bisogna seguire il modello inglese e racconta di quanto visto a Manchester, "di scene brutte nei nostri confronti da parte degli inglesi. Poi uno steward ha fatto segno a un capo-rione, quello e' andato dallo steward e quando e' tornato era una pecorella. Lo steward e' psicologicamente preparato ma ha anche dei poteri e in Inghilterre chi lo tocca va in galera". Il prefetto della capitale annuncia anche di aver chiesto "al Coni, alla Roma e alla Lazio di mettere giu' un progetto che deve prevedere per l'Olimpico delle curve a spicchi, con uno spazio sufficiente per inserire gli steward tra uno spicchio e l'altro, e l'installazione di telecamere fisse. Credo che subito dopo il campionato si possa dare inizio ai lavori per potere avere un ottimo stadio alla ripresa del campionato ma anche il migliore stadio d'Europa in vista della finale di Champions League del 2009".

Two stabbed before drab derby

April 30, 2007 AS ROMA closed in on Serie A's second automatic Champions League qualifying place after a drab, scoreless derby with city rival Lazio today (AEST).
The result leaves Roma needing three points from its remaining four matches to be sure of finishing runners-up to Inter Milan, which beat Empoli 3-1 at the San Siro in its first home game since winning the title.
Lazio is fourth on 58 points, one behind AC Milan which beat Torino 1-0 on Saturday.
Lazio's veteran keeper, Angelo Peruzzi, announced his retirement after the game.
"That's enough - I had already made up my mind in January," said the 37-year-old, who was reserve keeper for Italy in its triumphant World Cup campaign last year.
"I don't even think I will play another game this season. I've had three injections in my finger for a fracture, and I can't carry on." Peruzzi won three Serie A titles and the 1996 Champions League with Juventus, and also had spells at Roma, Verona and Inter Milan.
Elsewhere, Palermo's new coach, Renzo Gobbi, began his tenure with a 2-1 win over Livorno, ending the Sicilian side's 11-game winless run and lifting it to fifth on 52 points.
Parma beat Cagliari 2-1 to move three points clear of the relegation zone.
The build-up to the Rome derby was marred by skirmishes between rival fans outside the Olympic Stadium. Two people were stabbed.
The incident, less than a month after the violent scenes at Roma's Champions League quarter-final with Manchester United, highlighted once again the stadium's reputation as a flashpoint for trouble.
Roma was hampered by the relatively poor performance of captain Francesco Totti, whose preparation for the game had been disrupted by a back injury.
Totti was replaced by Mirko Vucinic with 15 minutes remaining, and the Serbia striker almost grabbed a stoppage-time winner when he rifled in a long-range shot that Lazio keeper Angelo Peruzzi beat away with both fists.
Inter sealed the Serie A title last week by beating Siena, and its triumphant homecoming to the San Siro seemed to be going according to script when Julio Cruz ran on to an Esteban Cambiasso backheel to fire it ahead midway through the first half.
The party atmosphere died down briefly in the 57th minute when Luca Saudati equalised for Empoli, but Inter hit back immediately, Alvaro Recoba curling the ball in directly from the corner flag.
Dejan Stankovic got Inter's third goal with a low, angled drive less than a minute later, after an Empoli defender lost possession on the edge of his area.
In Livorno, Palermo striker David Di Michele inspired his side to its first victory in nearly three months.
The Italy international created the opening goal in the 47th minute when he fell over under the slightest contact with Livorno keeper Emanuele Manitta to earn a penalty, which Eugenio Corini converted.
Livorno winger Cesar equalised with a penalty of his own after Stefano Morrone was pulled down by Roberto Guana, but Di Michele struck again with 15 minutes remaining, running on to Guana's pass before delicately chipping Manitta.
