Presentazione del
match (grazie Kostas, PAOK!)
L'AEK
è stato fondato ad Atene nel 1924. AEK sta per "Athlitiki Enwsi
Konstantinoupolis", vale a dire Unione Atletica di Costantinopoli. Le origini
dell'AEK sono assai simili a quelle del PAOK, poiché entrambi sono
club fondati da fuggitivi. Nel 1922 infatti i greci dalla costa dello Ionio
sino all'Asia Minore, Ponots al MAr Nero e Costantinopoli furono costretti
ad abbandonare la trra che avevano posseduto per secoli (sin da prima di
Cristo).
Da
questo punto di vista i due club sono parenti. Hanno anche lo stesso simbolo,
l'aquila a due teste di cui l'una guarda ad Est e l'altra ad Ovest (il
simbolo dell'Impero Bizantino). La principale differeza tra loro è
che il PAOK ha sede a Salonicco e l'AEK ad Atene. Quando si parla di Atene,
stiamo parlando di qualcosa come quel che segue:
immaginate
che il potere economico del Nord Italia (Torino, Milano ecc.) e le autorità
ammiistrative, gli stati maggiori del governo e la burocrazia siano condensate
in una città con una popolazione superiore a 4 milioni e mezzo di
abitanti (la Grecia ne ha 11 milioni): in una città virtuale come
questa, l'AEK è l'equivalete dell'Inter (là dove l'Olympiakos
è la Juventus e il Panathinaikos il Milan).
Probabilmente
avrete sentito voci su quanto sia lucroso e controllato il campionato greco.
Poiché il calcio è espressione sociale, la forza di Atene
nella società greca porta necessariamente a un campionato dove il
OSFP, PAO e l'AEK hanno un ruolo determinante anche perché hanno
un accesso diretto ai centri dove vengono prese le decisioni.
Il
più conosciuto fan club dell'AEK è l' Original (www.original21.com).
Ho incontrato
un paio di anni fa i capi fondatori ed abbiamo parlato qualche ora. Hanno
una prospettiva ideologica della loro squadra e da quel punto di vista
li rispetto. In generale il mio club (GATE 4, PAOK), ha buone relazioi
con Original. Dall'altra parte sono tuttavia parte del sistema (OSFP, PAO,
AEK).
Nel
1990 sono comparsi altri gruppi nella "Skepasti" (la curva dei tifosi dell'AEK):
i Peirates (anche conosciuti come Pirati) sono orientati a sinistra mentre
gli Original Ahens (che sono tra i futuri fondatori dell'Original 21) sono
più di destra. Attualmente gli Origial Athens dominano una
parte della Skepasti e ti devo informare che loro sostengono ed hanno relazioni
con i club della Lazio ed i tifosi. Generalmente tutti i tifosi orientati
a destra dell'AEK hanno simpatie per i laziali.
Bajevic
(ex allenatore del PAOK) è tornato all'Aek (era stato un famoso
calciatore dell'AEK negli anni '70 ed un loro ottimo allenatore negli anni
'80). Gli Original hanno protestato con forza contro il suo ritorno, ed
io sono d'accordo con loro. Dopo l'AEK ha frmato per il OSFP ed i tifosi
dell'AEK lo hanno accsato di tradimento. Ma gli Original rimasero isolati
su questa linea perché la maggior parte dei tifosi dell'AEK aderirono.
Il
miglior calciatore dell'AEK è Demis Nikolaidis, il n. 11 . E' l'equivalente
di Totti per l'AEK anche se non ha iniziato la sua carriere ad Atene. Altri
buoni giocatori sono Tsiartas (n. 10), Zagorakis No6, Ivic No 30, Lakis
No 23, Kasapis No 17. L'AEK ha anche preso Georgatos No31 dall'Inter (ex
giocatore dell'OSFP), e ciò ha determinato un'altra controversia
che i fans dell'AEK non hanno gradito.

presidente dell'AEK (Psomiadis) è una persona ridicola. E' proprietario
di night clubs Gli Original lo accusano di essere controllato da Kokkalis
(il presidente dell'OSFP e l'equivalente di Berlusconi) e credo abbiano
ragione. Egli ha fissato dei prezzi molto alti (50 e 150 euro) per i biglietti
della partita con la Roma e credo che il loro stado non sarà pieno
il 25 settembre. Se l'AEK dovesse perdere, ci saranno probabilmente incidenti
(anche tra gli stessi tifosi dellAEK). Il loro stadio contiene 20.000 spettatori

Non credo
che i fans della Roma possano trovarsi in qualunque tipo di casino ad Atene.
Se tutto va bene e la Roma vince la maggior parte dei casini scoppieranno
tra gli stessi fans dell'AEK in quanto gli Original e qualche altro gruppo
minore sono in attrito con il presidente e l'allenatore della squadra.
Tra l'altro come detto i biglietti sono carissimi oltre ogni immaginazione
e quindi lo stadio non sarà pieno.
Non
credo quindi che possano esserci agguati fuori dallo stadio, l'unica cosa
pericolosa che può accadere è che vengano lanciate bottiglie,
pietre o qalche torcia dentro lo stadio. Comunque di solito non ci sono
incidenti in occasioni di competizioni internazionali.
Aek
was founded in Athens in 1924. Aek stands for Athlitiki Enwsi Konstantinoupolis,
aka Athletic Union of Constantinople. Aek's roots are very close to PAOK's
since we are both fugitive's club. I think that you know the story when
in 1922 Greeks from the coasts of Ionia at Asia Minor, Pontos at the Black
Sea and Konstantinoupolis were force to abandon the land which they own
for centuries (since BC years).
From
that point of view PAOK and AEK are relative clubs. They have also the
same emblem, the double-headed eagle with one head stares at East and the
other at West (the symbol of Byzantine empire). Their main difference
is that PAOK is based in Salonika and AEk in Athens. When we are talking
about Athens, we are talking about something like the followind:
Imagine
that the economic power of North Italy (turin, Milan etc) and the administrative
authorities, the headquarters of the goverment and bureacracy all together
in one city with population over 4.5M (Greece has a population of 11M).
Then in a virtual city like that, AEk is the equivalent for Inter (Olympiakos
is juve and Panathinaikos is Milan).
Propably
you have heard rumors about how filthy and how controlled is the Greek
championship. Since football is a social expression, the imperium of Athens
in Greek society leads to a championship were the OSFP, PAO and AEK are
playing the bigger parts since the have direct access to centers were decisions
are taken.
Aek's
most well known fan club is Original. (www.original21.com) I have met before
2 years the founder of original and we talked for some hours. They have
an ideological prespective about their team and from that point of view
i respect them. In general my club Gate4, has a kind of good relations
with Original.On the other hand they are part of the game (OSFP, PAO, AEK).
In
the 1990's some other groups appeared in the "Skepasti" (the curva that
the fans of AEK stand). Peirates (aka Pirates) are more left oriented and
Original Athens (they are former members of Original 21) are more right
oriented. Original Athens dominates nowdays a part of Skepasti and i have
to inform you that they support and have relations with lazie clubs and
fans. Generally all the right oriented AEk fans are having some good feelings
for the hillbillies of lazio.
Bajevic
(our former coach) has returned to Aek (he was a famous football player
for Aek back in the 70's and succesful coach in 80's). Original have protested
very strong for his come back ( i totally agree with them). After Aek he
has signed for OSFP and Aek's fans acussed him for betrayal. But Original
was a bit isolated as most of Aek fans compromised.
Aek's
bets playesr is Demis Nikolaidis No11 (i pay respect for him). He is the
equivalent for Totti even he didn't start his carreer in Aek.
Other
good players, are Tsiartas No10, Zagorakis No6, Ivic No 30, Lakis No 23,
Kasapis No 17. Also Aek take Georgatos No31 from Inter (ex OSFP player)
(another controversial movement that Aek's fans did not like).
AEk's
president (Psomiadis) is a ridiculus person (see the attached foto). He
is an owner of night clubs. Original acusses him that he is controlled
by Kokkalis (the president of OSFP and the Greek equivalent of Berlusconi).
Personally i agrere with them. He set very high prices (50E and 150E) for
the tickets of the match Aek-AS ROMA and i think that their stadium will
not be full on Sept the 25th. In case of a bad result for Aek (hope so)
propably some incidents will take place (even among the fans of Aek)

In general
i don't think that AS ROMA fans will face any kinds of trouble in Athens.
If everything goes well and our team wins the match vs AEK the most troubles
are gonna take place between Aek fans. I have told you that Original and
some other smaller clubs are in great hassle with the president and the
coach of the team.
On the
other hand the tickets are very expensive-beyond imagination-and i am quite
convinced that the match will not be a sold out one.
