La partenza è alle 14.30 da Fiumicino, costo della trasferta Roma/Liverpool (diretto) andata-ritorno-biglietto stadio - trasporto aeroporto/stadio e viceversa: 600.000 grazie all'ottima organizzazione del Campo de' Fiori Roma Fans.
158 persone sull'aereo charter Alitalia, un volo più o meno tranquillo se non fosse stato per l'alcool prelevato a bordo da parte dei passeggeri più giovani che ben presto hanno avuto qualche problema.
Fatto sta che si arriva a Liverpool verso le 18.00, all'aeroporto veniamo accolti da bobbies sorridenti che ci danno il benvenuto e, con cortesia e disponibilità ci indicano i pullmann che ci dovranno portare ad Anfield. Siamo tre pullmann e veniamo quindi scortati fino allo stadio dov'è nato il tifo, ci fanno parcheggiare e con una scorta di 3 o 4 bobbies ci dirigiamo verso il nostro settore mentre in mezzo a noi passano anche tifosi del Liverpool. Da parte dei bobbies nessun atteggiamento aggressivo, disponibilità, cortesia e anche fermezza quando ci vuole. Sarebbe opportuno che coloro che in Italia si occupano di ordine pubblico facessero un bel corso da queste parti per capire cosa significa "accogliere" i tifosi.... Quelli che erano ad Anfield, e che si sono comportati con correttezza estrema, sono gli stessi di Milan/Roma, di Bologna/Roma, di Roma/Liverpool.... Come la mettiamo che con il servizio d'ordine inglese non accade nulla e con quello italiano invece ci sono sempre problemi? La risposta sta nella foto qui sotto, poiché questa è l'accoglienza e l'atteggiamento di diverse "pecore nere" tra i celerini che ci danno il benvenuto in tutta Italia.

Appena entrato vado al bagno (vale la pena raccontarlo) e subito parte una musichetta distensiva nel WC profumato.... esco e finalmente entro nel tempio.
La sensazione è forte, e già merita il viaggio.
Siamo separati dai tifosi inglesi da.... nulla, vi sono alcuni steward che ci dividono dal prato verde e, durante la partita, da 4-5 bobbies che con aria serafica se ne stanno lì davanti a te a controllare che non eccedi. Nessuna provocazione, nessun atteggiamento aggressivo.
I tifosi vengono fatti sistemare dalla quarta fila in su, ed anche questo ha una ragione: durante le fasi concitate del gioco pian piano i tifosi si avvicinano al campo, ed infatti alla fine del primo tempo si era già alla seconda fila, ed alla fine della partita nel piccolissimo parterre.... Ma, al contrario che in Italia, i bobbies non si sono arrabbiati prendendoci a manganellate, perchè avevano previsto anche questo, e cioè il fatto che l'adrenalina porta il tifoso ad avvicinarsi ai propri beniamini. Ed anche durante la partita, se c'è qualcuno che esagera, non parte una carica indiscriminata come invece avviene in ogni stadio dello stivale: arriva il bobbie che fa: "You! I am watching you" (Tu! Ti sto guardando!). E alla prossima che fai sei fuori dallo stadio. Da noi invece... si colpisce a casaccio! Fanno entrare anche le aste delle bandiere, purché sottili, e uno striscione di carta con scritto "se passamo moro".
Mini coreografia nostra con delle bandierine di plastica portata dai romanisti residenti in Gran Bretagna e.... i cori del Liverpool (imponenti) partono dall'altoparlante dello stadio!
Durante la partita il nostro tifo è abbastanza buono, anche se con un po' di alti e bassi in quanto nel nostro settore c'erano anche parecchie famiglie. Comunque i nostri cori, soprattutto durante i non rari momenti di silenzio di Anfield, sono rimbombati nello stadio, facendoci uscire tra gli applausi dei tifosi del Liverpool che stavano accanto a noi. Terrifìcante, da parte della Kop e della Centenary Stand il canto "Lazio-Lazio" al quale si è risposto adeguatamente con "Everton-Everton" e con un significativo: "You're shit, and you know you are" ("siete merda, e sapete di esserlo") che ha fatto girare tutta la Centenary Stand, stupita del fatto che i tifosi della Roma conoscessero pure l'inglese....!
Comunque, la Roma vince ad Anfield e subisce uno dei furti più clamorosi della sua storia ad opera della Juventus d'Inghilterra. Con le note di "Arrivederci Roma", cui si replica con "La società dei magnaccioni", ci fanno restare nel nostro settore per 20 minuti e poi di nuovo all'aeroporto. Alle 6 sono a casa.

Aveva diffuso la canzone "Arrivederci Roma" dopo il fischio finale
Dopo gli sberleffi, le scuse: lo speaker dello stadio di Liverpool, che dopo il fischio finale del match tra i Reds e i giallorossi, aveva mandato in onda "Arrivederci Roma", è tornato sui suoi passi ed ha chiesto scusa ai tifosi italiani.
La scelta del motivo musicale era stata anche criticata da Gerard Houllier, tecnico francese dei Reds.

RESOCONTO DI RICCARDO
Beh, è veramente difficile fare un resoconto di questa trasferta, l’Anfield road è un’ emozione grandissima, e si sa….è difficile descrivere le emozioni…
Comunque, partiamo da Roma a 12,30 con un volo della go-fly e alle 2 (ora inglese) siamo a Londra. Tra un treno e un autobus arriviamo in centro dove incontriamo altri ragazzi venuti da roma per seguire la magica che ci indicano un ostello non lontano per passare la notte. Posiamo i bagagli e…via, in giro per londra, tra un pub e un Mc Donald’s si fanno le 23, andiamo a dormire, domani abbiamo il pullman per Liverpool alle 8 di mattina.
Dopo un viaggio interminabile (5 ore per fare 350 km…mah…) arriviamo a Liverpool, inutile dire che incontriamo molti romani alla stazione, acquisiamo le informazioni necessarie per muoverci nel centro della città e dopo 10 minuti siamo già in giro.
Ci facciamo il giro dei pub, cercando di evitare posti troppo loschi, abbiamo contatti anche con la gente del luogo, ma nessun problema… (per adesso)
Sono le 17, si avvicina l’ora della partita, decidiamo di prendere un taxi per arrivare allo stadio, ci incotriamo con due imbecilli, per non dire coattoni di Roma (e quanno ce vò ce vò) che iniziano a litigare e a strillare, non passano neanche 5 minuti e ci ritroviamo circondati dagli inglesi, eravamo in 5 loro erano tanti (almeno una quindicina), ma appena mi rendo conto della situazione, rimaniamo in 3 (complimenti ai coattoni….chi l’ha visti?), per fortuna ce la caviamo senza farci spaccare la faccia (probabilmente gli inglesi avranno capito che non c’era speranza per noi…).
Verso le 18 ci ritroviamo tutti e 5, i due eroi si rendono conto di aver fatto una cazzata immane e chiedono scusa, vabbè… lasciamo stare, dobbiamo prendere il taxi….andiamo in fermata ma i taxi non arrivano. Siamo stati più di un’ora ad aspettare i tassisti, con gli inglesi che passavano e ci gridavano <<Shit, Shit>> (merde).
Alla fine arriviamo allo stadio alle 19,45 (la partita iniziava alle 8!!!), dopo una litigata col tassista che voleva fermarci sotto la KOP!
Entro all’Anfield……IL DELIRIO! 35000 persone che cantano “you’ll never walk alone”, mentre la Roma si sta scaldando davanti a noi. I nostri sono già tutti sistemati nel settore, così mi faccio un giro per trovare un posto. Scendo giù al parterre di corsa, incurante dei Bobbies, per cercare qualche faccia conosciuta, ma mi ritrovo praticamente davanti a Montella: <<DAJE VINCE’! DAJE!!!!!!>> gli urlo, con tutta l’adrenalina che avevo in corpo, poi mi sento chiamare: <<A Riccà!>>, mi giro: <<Bella Lorè!!!, so entrato proprio adesso, gli inglesi c’hanno caricato, pe fortuna niente de grave…>>. Saluto qualche amico (bella Geppo! Bella Iggi!) e prendo posto insieme ai 1000 Leoni dell’Anfield. Sono le 8 e dalla Kop parte una coreografia (molto in stile italiano), noi rispondiamo con <<Quando l’inno s’alzerà…>> all’entrata in campo delle squadre.
Nei momenti di silenzio dell’Anfield (tra l’altro…parecchi) ci facciamo sentire eccome! La Roma gioca bene, stavolta i giocatori hanno mostrato attaccamento alla maglia, niente da dire….la partita l’avete vista quindi è inutile ripetere quello che è accaduto.
Al fischio finale, gli inglesi della tribuna tevere (per intenderci) ci sfottono con un <<LAZIO-LAZIO-LAZIO….>> mentre lo stadio si svuotava, noi non stiamo a guardare e dal nostro settore parte <<La società dei magnaccioni>>, E’ UN BOATO CHE RIECHEGGIA IN TUTTO L’ANFIELD, tanto che molti inglesi rimangono a guardare increduli, alcuni ci sfottono, ma molti applaudono….come dire, BATTIAMO LE MANI AI VERI ROMANI….
Addirittura c’è lo scambio di sciarpette, <<IO NON LA VOGLIO LA SCIARPA DEL LIVERPOOL!!! SCHIFOSI!!>> E SOPRATTUTTO NON GLI DO’ LA MIA!
ESCO DALLO STADIO FIERO E ORGOGLIOSO DI SENTIRMI ROMANO E ROMANISTA, non abbiamo passato il turno, ma almeno abbiamo vinto all’Anfield Road, ci è voluta un infamata per non farci passare il turno, vabbè, ormai ci siamo abituati….

siamo tornati stanotte (ieri ndr) da Liverpool, ho letto il tuo resoconto, e devo dire che la situazione è proprio come l'hai descritta...cioè Bobbies gentili, ma fermi, nessuna possibilità di incidenti, ma senza l'inciviltà della ns. polizia (già dall'aereoporto potevi notare la differenza).....
Bel gruppone di tifosi della magica che hanno fatto, a tratti, da padroni all' Anfield Road, con i tifosi inglesi che stupiti rimanevano incantati ad ascoltarci.
Bella anche la Bandierona Irlandese esposta da un gruppetto di ragazzi sotto il nostro settore...alla faccia loro.
...della partita hai già parlato tu...io ti racconto del resto...noi abbiamo dormito a Liverpool e..... La ns. trasferta è stata leggermente differente dalla tua, anche perchè noi siamo andati da soli eravamo 5, più qualche aggregato conosciuto in viaggio. La cosa bella di questa trasferta, e che tutti si sono persi, è stato il dopo partita.....
Al termine della partita siamo usciti e ci siamo diretti in direzione centro, a piedi, da soli nelle
viuzze dietro allo stadio, stando sempre in campana, perchè, si si bravi buoni, ma non ci fidavamo tanto de 'sti inglesi.
Invece devo dire che abbiamo conosciuto tutta gente gajarda, ed addirittura si scusavano per il "penalty" (rigore) che non era giusto.
Comunque sempre tutta a piedi, nella notte ci avviamo verso il centro, e regolarmente ci perdiamo per le vie di Liverpool finendo non si sà dove.....
Alla fine prendiamo un Taxi , che non si sà come c'era capitato in quella zona deserta...e ci facciamo portare vicino al centro.
Alla ricerca di qualcosa "da magnà" (era tutto chiuso) entriamo in un Pub...appena dentro mi "appiccico" istantaneamente con un ciccione inglese che non appena ci ha visto ci ha chiamati "merda".....mi ci attacco subito, ma gli amici suoi si scusano subito e ci dividono....comunque..da "magnà" niente tranne patatine, ma "da beve" nun c'èra problema....e allora daje......
Dopo mezz'ora se stufamo de sta li dentro perchè la fame è tanta, e ci avviamo per le stradine di
Liverpool che a quell'ora erano deserte.....fino a che non vediamo della gente e delle luci in
lontananza.....ahò annamo là che me pare che c'è movimento!!!
Beh arriviamo nella via famosa dove ci sono i locali di Liverpool...."the Cavern" etc etc. che te lo dico a fare.....2.000 persone che bevevano e se divertivanocome matti....."ma tutti con le sciarpe e magliette del Liverpool"....le donne loro..tutte mezze nude...(faceva un freddo da paura)....noi 5 con le sciarpette della Magica entramo dentro a un locale, e chiaramente ce lo dovevamo avè scritto in faccia che eravamo della Roma, perchè al nostro passaggio "si aprivano le folle" e tutti ci guardavano.....eccola là mò ce gonfiano.....e invece noi avanziamo dritti e per niente intimoriti, ed allora i Reds riprendono a bere, ed addirittura a salutarci, come se fossimo stati dei
loro. Cominciamo a fare amicizia, a bere, a parlare e ballare con le loro donne, a divertirci insomma.....e tutti che ci facevano i complimenti,le scuse per quel maledetto rigore "rubato", ed ancora complimenti per la forza della "Magica" che li aveva impressionati.
Insomma abbiamo passato una nottata fantastica, ci siamo divertiti come matti, anche quando verso le 2.30 di notte hanno spento la musica (funziona così a Liverpool)ma loro sono rimasti a finire di bere e cantare (uomini e donne) Liverpool Liverpool Liverpool......" e noi che famo...... L'indomani 4 orette in treno fino a Londra, da lì un giretto al centro, aereo per Roma ed a mezzanotte atterriamo a Roma.....bella trasfertina, ce voleva proprio.
